somedays you just gotta get it done for the sake of the team.

the bottom of "U".

you are hurt,

you are hurting.

you are alive, but bruised.

your former great big public wins are now little bitty personal and private wins.

your sad

your being sifted.

it is hard, but it is worth it.

it is not fun, but it is necessary

it's necessary to realize that you are not on a level path.

your moving along very precariously, but keep moving.

allow yourself to slide down this current path..onto the bottom of the valley.

the bottom.. where you can only look up to the One who creates a firm and straight path. a path that doesn't allow you to climb up either side again. a firm path that's level, sure, trustworthy, and full of grace and mercy.

when you walk there.. on the bottom.. with your face lifted up there is no more room for yourself. only God.

and that's the main thing.. it has nothing to do with you but it has everything to do with you relying on God to keep you there on the bottom of "U."

Teach me to do your will, for you are my God! Let your good Spirit lead me on level ground! Psalm 143:10.

good news /bad news

Good news!! The chickens have survived outside for three days!!

my dad made this super duper extra cool chicken hut for them to romp outside and stay safe from big hunters that could take their life.

i love my dad.

the poppies remind me of a great friend in Colorado, and i love it when they bloom.

bad news? well, 5 more takers were born, right next to the house.
